121046: SS Harflete

SS Harflete was a Cargo Steamship built by Bartram & Sons Ltd, Sunderland in 1913 for J & C Harrison Ltd, London. During the First World War the ship was armed and some of the crew were from the Royal Naval Reserve.

On April 26, 1917 the SS Harflete was 200 miles NW by W of Fastnet and was torpedoed and sunk  with the loss of one life.
