The SS War Fig was a Cargo Steamship built by the Monmouth Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Chepstow in 1920 for the Shipping Controller, London. She was sold three times and renamed SS Silverway, SS Charterhague and SS Jaameri.

On April 26, 1944 the ship was mined and sunk with the loss of two lives.
