The SS Numidian was a Passenger/Cargo Steamship built by D & W Henderson & Co Ltd, Glasgow in 1891 for the Allan Line, Montreal. She was requisitioned by the Admiralty in 1914 and served in the First World War. HMS Numidian was used as a Blockship at Scapa Flow and was deliberately scuttled on December 31, 1914.
