120847: HMS Columbine

HMS Columbine was a Shore Based Establishment on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth at Port Edgar established in 1916. The wounded from the Battle of Jutland were landed there and taken to the Naval Hospital, Butlaw, North Queensferry and the dead were buried in the local cemetery.  HMS Columbine was a base for Torpedo Boat Destroyers and was closed in 1938.
