120831: RMS/HMS Celtic
RMS Celtic was an Ocean Liner built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast in 1901 for the White Star Line. She was assigned to the Liverpool to New York route until the 1914 when the RMS Celtic was requisitioned and served in the First World War. HMS Celtic was first an Auxiliary Cruiser and later a Troopship.
After the War RMS Celtic resumed her Transatlantic Service and on December 10, 1928 she ran aground and sunk with no loss of life.
