The SS War Lemur was a Cargo Steamship built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast in 1918 for the Shipping Controller, London. She was sold six times and renamed SS Verentia, SS Foreric, SS Galvan, SS Pei Tai and SS Hokutai Maru.

The ship was lost in an Air Raid on March 30, 1943.
