120705: SS Araguaya (120716)

The SS Araguaya was a Passenger Steamship built by Workman Clark & Co, Belfast in 1906 for the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co, London. She was sold to the Canadian Government in 1917 and used as Hospital Ship in the First World War.

On November 8, 1942 the SS Araguaya was shelled and sunk with the loss of 3 lives.
