The SS Pacific Pioneer was a Cargo Ship  built by the Blythswood Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Glasgow in 1927 for the for the Gulf Line.

On passage from Cardiff to New York, on July 30, 1942 SS Pacific Pioneer was torpedoed and sunk with no loss of life.
