120146: SS Kirnwood (147794)

The SS Kirnwood was a Cargo Steamer built by Redhead, John & Sons Ltd, South Shields in 1928 for Constantine Shipping Co, Middlesburgh. 

On passage from New York and Sydney to Ipswich, on December 10, 1941 she was torpedoed and sunk  with the loss of 12 hands.
