The Queen Victoria was a Steel Motor Cargo Vessel built by Barclay, Curle and Company, Glasgow in 1936 for the Queen Line.
On June 28, 1942, on passage from Table Bay, Cape Town to Aden with a cargo of Government supplies she was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine and sunk with the loss of all 48 crew.
