119931: Glenafton (SY533)

The Glenafton  was built of wood by Beeching Brothers of Yarmouth in 1906.

Sold to J Macleod, Stornoway in 1928 and was sold to the British Iron and Steel Co. Glasgow for carrying scrap.

The vessel was sold for scrap in 1943 and broken up at Peterhead.

Dimensions: 72 GRT     Length 80.5 ft     Breadth 18.4 ft     Depth 8.9 ft

16 inch compound engine by Crabtree and Co, Yarmouth.
