Donald (1811-1877) was a son of Neil Maclean and Marion Maclean, 1 Buanish.
Buanish was cleared in 1826 and the family were moved to 7 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1836, he married Mary Mackay, 16 Old Gravir. Donald and Mary settled at 7 Old Lemreway and in 1843 became cottars at 16 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting Donald obtained 33 Gravir. They had four of a family.
Donald's brother Lachlan married Mary's sister Ann.
