75384: John Campbell

John Campbell (1790-1863) was an agricultural labourer from Pabbay. In 1850 he obtained crofts 21 and 22 Ruisgarry (Ben Leva) in the relotting of Ruisgarry. However, a few years later the crofts were split. John retained croft 22, and croft 21 passed to Roderick MacLeod, who obtained croft 22 following John’s death. John was married to Catherine MacLeod, with whom he had four children.
