John (1786-1869) was a son of Donald Macaulay and Chirsty Mackenzie, 11 Old Lemreway.
In 1820 he married Christina Nicolson, Eishken. John and Christina settled at 1 Old Lemreway and they had six children.
The family were removed to 9 Crossbost in 1843.
