Donald (1837-1919) was a son of Neil Mackenzie and Mary Kennedy, 10 Old Lemreway. In 1843 when Lemreway was cleared the family were removed to 18 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1866, he married Johanna Macaulay, 10 Grimshader, Donald and Johanna were Cottars at 10 Grimshader and they had five children.
Donald was widowed in 1876 and on February 1, 1877 he married Chirsty Macleod, 11 Cromore. Donald and Christy settled at 10 Grimshader and they had five children. The family were still living there in 1911 and it is not clear when the family moved to 11 Cromore.
