7916: 8 Lemreway

Malcolm Macleod, 7 Balallan was the first tenant of this croft after the township was reoccupied in 1857. His father was born in Lemreway and resided there before the village was cleared. Malcolm moved back to 7 Balallan and Malcolm Macleod (1839-), 51 Balallan took over the tenancy, followed by his sons.
