The first tenant of this croft was Donald Nicolson (1822-1896)  1a Old Steimreway son of Louis, 19 Lemreway.

25 Lemreway was taken by  Donald Nicolson (1865)  son of Malcolm, 27 Lemreway. His nephew Louis took over the tenancy until they moved to Nairn in the 1950s when the croft went to John Carmichael (1899-1971) son of Donald, 16 Lemreway.
